Personal Data

We collect personal data from you when you voluntarily choose to register with BBforME, when you use the Platform, and when you send BBforME or Users information or communications in connection with your use of the Platform. We use the personal data that we collect in order to provide and improve our Platform, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms of Service. Examples of personal data may include, but are not limited to, first name, last name, business name and information, address, email address, telephone number, birth date, social security number, appointment information, location, IP address, billing and credit card information, as well as any other non-public information that may be associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.

Third Party Personal Data

We may also collect personal data from you about certain third parties (e.g., Professionals may provide information about Clients, or Clients may provide information about Professionals), and from certain third parties about you. We use this personal data that we collect in order to provide and improve our Platform, facilitate communication between you and such third parties, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy, the End User License Agreement in mobile applications, and in our Terms of Service. You warrant to BBforME that any personal data you provide us about any third party individuals was obtained by you with full consent from such third party, and that such third party has not communicated to you that they wish to opt out of receiving communication from BBforME or having BBforME collect information about such third party.

Use of Personal Data

BBforME uses the personal data you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy or with any applicable service-specific agreement. If you provide personal data for a certain reason, we may use the personal data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, we will use the personal data you input during the registration process to administer access to the Platform and, if applicable, publish information about Professionals or Platform. We may also use the information Professionals submit about Clients or affiliated Professionals to send Clients and Professionals emails or SMS messages at such Client’s or Professional’s direction via the Platform. We may also contact Clients to tell them about products and services that Professionals may offer and to further promote Professionals and the Platform. We may send Users marketing communications. We will give Users the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from BBforME. BBforME and its affiliates also use Users’ personal data and other personally nonidentifiable information collected through the Platform to help us improve the content and functionality of the mobile application and Platform, to better understand the Users of our Platform, and to improve our Platform.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We may collect non-personally identifiable information from you at the time of registration, or when you choose to use certain components of our Platform. This information is not, by itself, sufficient to identify or contact Users. Examples include but are not limited to demographic data, age, education level, profession, geographic location or gender. BBforME may store such information, or it may be included in databases owned and maintained by BBforME’s affiliates, agents or service providers. The Platform may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Website and the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service providers. It is important to note that no personal data is available or used in this process.

In operating, the mobile applications and the Platform, we may use technologies such as cookies, web beacons and log files. A web beacon is an electronic file that signals when a webpage, advertisement, video, other content, an email or newsletter has been viewed. Log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile application each time you access the Website or our Platform. We use the information we collect from our Platform to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new services, and to protect BBforME and our Users.
